Committed to Memory: A History of Johnstown in Objects is an exhibition that explores the questions of what objects may tell us about Johnstown's past and how objects can speak to us through the memories each of the historical themes that JAHA addresses in its museum mission. In some cases, the objects are accompanied by stories from their donors or former owners to illustrate the way in which objects are attached to individual memories. The exhibition encourages adult and child participation by encouraging visitors to share their own memories related to the objects in our exhibition.
