Survival Series: Outdoor Safety Hike

Date:
Saturday, July 22, 2017 - 2:00pm to 3:00pm

We all know that safety should come first. But sometimes it can be easy to overlook safety, especially when we are eager to get outdoors and have fun. Come along on this easy one-mile walk on Forest and Deer Trails where we’ll examine some common outdoor hazards, including ticks, weather, and dangerous plants and animals, so that you might avoid them on your next adventure. Meet at the Point Trailhead parking lot. Please wear sturdy shoes and bring drinking water.
