Flight 93 family members’ Ken Nacke and Patrick White will be the featured guests at the Flight 93 Speaker Series this weekend at Flight 93 National Memorial in Somerset County. Ken’s brother and Patrick's cousin, Louis J. “Joey” Nacke, was a passenger aboard United Airlines Flight 93 on September 11, 2001.
The two family members will share stories about their loved one and their experiences involving the development of the memorial over the past 18 years leading up to the dedication last September of the Tower of Voices, the final feature of the original architects’ design.
The programs are scheduled for 12 pm and 2 pm on Saturday, May 25, and noon only on Sunday, May 26. Both programs will be held at the memorial’s Learning Center and are free to the public. Facilitating this month’s lecture series is Donna Gibson, President of the Friends’ Board of Directors. This is the first of four such events on weekends throughout the summer. The Speaker Series is sponsored by Somerset Trust Company for a third year in a row.
