The Mount Aloysius College Comic Book Club hosts its Second Annual MAC Charity Comic Con on Saturday, October 21st beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Second Annual Charity Comic Con will be held in the College Bertschi Center and Technology Commons. The public is warmly invited to attend. Proceeds from the event will provide entertainment for children in hospitals throughout Western Pennsylvania through Child’s Play.
There will be something for all ages at the Charity Comic Con. Over 15 vendors of comic books, pop culture, fantasy, and sci-fi merchandise will attend the event. Attendees can expect feature games and cosplay contests, basket raffle, and special programming for kids.
There will be presentations from Mount Aloysius College, St. Francis University, Duquesne University, and The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. Speakers will address a variety of comics-oriented topics.
Mr. Wayne Wise, an instructor at Chatham University who serves on the Board of the Pittsburgh Toonseum, will be among this year’s presenters. Attendees can also enjoy a special screening of Wonder Woman at 6:00 p.m.
