Thunder in the Valley® Volunteering
We are constantly looking for enthusiastic individuals to volunteer during the event! Typical volunteer duties and locations include:
THUNDER IN THE VALLEY
VOLUNTEER JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Volunteer Registration:
Duties: As volunteers arrive for their shifts, register them by having them sign a booklet and fill in emergency contact info; have them sign a waiver to be included in our insurance policy for the weekend; give them T-shirts and water and send them to their shift site.
Place: All volunteers will check-in at the Welcome Tent at Point Stadium.
Ambassador Tent:
Duties: Provide directions, maps, program booklets, visitor guides, and general information to event attendees. Good people skills required.
Place: located outside of the Lee Parking Garage facing Main Street.
Pub Area: Wristbands
Duties: Put wristbands on patrons once IDs have been checked and approved. Be a watchdog! Stop anyone who does not have a pub wristband from entering the pub area.
Place: Festival Park, Train Station, Biker Mall
Welcome Tent:
Duties: Provide directions, maps, program booklets, visitor guides, ride information, detailed event information to event attendees. Good people skills required.
Place: located at Point Stadium.
