Join a Park Ranger as we trace the path of the Great Johnstown Flood of 1889. The tour will begin at the Johnstown Flood National Memorial and the site of the South Fork Dam. A full guided tour of the South Fork Fishing and Hunting Club House will also be included on this tour. Then we will travel through South Fork, Mineral Point, East Conemaugh/Franklin, Woodvale, and Johnstown. The narrative portion of the tour concludes with a stop at Grandview Cemetery. Along the way, participants will learn how this awful catastrophe impacted all of these communities. This free tour begins at 1:00 PM at the Johnstown Flood National Memorial Visitor Center.
