Ebensburg’s Concerts in the park series begins Friday
Ebensburg – Ebensburg’s Concerts in the Park series will continue this year, beginning this Friday, July 14th from 6 to 9 pm at Penn Eben Park, 227 West High Street.
“We book different types of bands each year in an effort to appeal to all generations attending the concerts,” said Danea Koss, Community Development Director. “Penn Eben Park provides the perfect venue and we encourage attendees to take a stroll through town and support our local restaurants, clubs, bars and shops.”
In addition to Penn Eben Parking Lot, the 100 block of north Julian Street will be closed so that attendees have even more room to spread out.
This year’s line-up includes six concerts with new and returning bands, featuring all different types of music. The schedule is as follows:
July 14th – Felix and the Hurricanes, sponsored by Pivot Physical Therapy
July 21st – Darrell Dumm, sponsored by Rotary Club of Ebensburg
August 4th – The Moore Brothers, sponsored by Cambria County Child Development Corporation
August 11th – Amber Marie, sponsored by Lifestyle Support Services
August 18th – Smooth Sound Band, sponsored by Maple Heights, formerly Cambria Care Center
August 25th – Somebody to Love, sponsored by SERVPRO of Ebensburg
The Main Street Partnership would like to thank the concert sponsors, without whom these events would not be possible. They also encourage concert-goers to take some time to walk through our beautiful downtown and visit our shops and restaurants. Grab a bite to eat or enjoy a cold beverage while you join us for an evening of live music.
