Coffee House Series~Namie & Will

Friday, December 8, 2017 - 6:30pm to 8:00pm

Namie Louder and Will Gomez are two talented musicians who love to play and write music. After playing at a local Open Mic Night, they decided they would team up and work together. Since then, they have played shows all over Johnstown, and can’t wait to play for the Community Arts Center! They cover anything from the 50’s all the way to today’s modern hit songs. They use acoustic folk/pop to bring a modern but also original feel to every show that they play. They will always leave you wanting more!

Will Gomez was born in New Jersey, and was brought up in a home of old rock and roll and Blues music! He eventually moved to Johnstown, where he pursues music with a passion anyway he can. From mixing and producing locally talented musicians, to just playin gigs and rocking out! He enjoys covering songs from the 50’s all the way to the current hit songs of today! He always makes sure to keep the songs original while still adding an undertone of pop. Making sure to add his own unique style of acoustic folk mixed with a blues type feel, there will always be something for people to enjoy and to come back wanting more.

Namie Louder was born and raised in Johnstown, growing up in a home filled with talented musicians and singers. From listening to his mom sing country songs all day long to his Dad trying to sing Michael Jackson hits, he was influenced by many different genres. At the age of 14 he taught himself how to play guitar and since then has become a singer/songwriter himself. Mixing in the acoustic folk/ pop influences he grew up on, he always knows how to keep songs fresh and modern while still maintaining an acoustic feel. He uses a pedal board system called a looping station, to become a one man band. Using his guitar as a drum and his voice as a choir, he brings something unique and fun to the music industry always keeping you on your toes.
