SUMMARY:Ghost Town Trail Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The Challenge is known for its 32-mile (50k) endurance hike along the entire length of the Ghost Town Trail from Black Lick\, PA to Ebensburg\, PA. Participants begin at sunrise and are challenged to complete the entire 32 miles on foot before sundown. This is not a race\, but rather a challenge\, which tests your mental and physical ability to journey this distance in one day. Other distances offered are a *new* 50-miler (running only)\, 25k run/walk\, or 12k run/walk.

SUMMARY:Guided Hikes: Staple Bend Tunnel
DESCRIPTION:This hike takes participants to the first railroad tunnel in America\, the Staple Bend Tunnel. On this approximately 5-mile round trip hike\, participants will learn about the history of the tunnel\, how it was constructed\, the Allegheny Portage Railroad\, and much more! Several features from the days of the railroad\, including stone sleepers and culverts\, are visible. Please note\, the interior of the Staple Bend Tunnel is closed due to a rockfall. Participants will still be able to view both sides of the tunnel via a path around the side of the tunnel structure.
