SUMMARY:"Consumed" & Allied Artists of Johnstown Fall Show
DESCRIPTION:“Consumed” is an immersive collection by Colleen Albright of sculpture\, drawing\, painting\, and mixed-media installation developed over the course of a year and a half. The exhibition confronts experiences that have occupied—and at times consumed—my inner life for more than a decade: anxiety\, isolation\, repetitive negative thoughts\, disordered relationships with food\, destructive patterns\, and the persistent feeling of being unworthy or unseen. Some of the imagery in Consumed is intentionally unsettling. \nThe Allied Artists of Johnstown are made up of nearly eighty talented artists from throughout the region\, each bringing their own unique skills to each and every exhibition. The Fall Exhibition will feature work from many of the AAJ members\, and their work will encompass a wide variety of mediums and subject matter. \n  \n  \n

SUMMARY:Chernisky Ghost Town Trail-a-thon
DESCRIPTION:The Trail-a-thon offers the only marathon in Cambria County\, a 15-miler\, a 5k\, a 0.0k (yes\, it’s that easy)\, or a 26.2-mile bicycle ride for trail enthusiasts to enjoy.  All pre-registered participants will receive a commemorative long-sleeve Trail-a-thon shirt. Finishers of the events will receive a finisher’s medal\, and top 3 placement prizes\, male/female\, will be issued per distance for running events only. The marathon course utilizes 23 miles of the Ghost Town Trail system in Cambria County\, and includes the trail connection to Duman Lake County Park.

SUMMARY:Weakland Farms Corn Maze
DESCRIPTION:The corn maze is a fun activity to welcome in the fall season. Enjoy the fresh air as you stroll through an actual home grown corn field. Weakland Farms’ corn maze is a mile and a half\, six acre field comprised of eight feet tall field corn. Paths\, which measure 48 inches wide\, are cut in the corn to complete a specified design. Stations with questions are hidden throughout the maze to provide a challenging yet fun experience. The questions are usually general knowledge\, simple enough for kids to answer. Allow yourself at least an hour to answer the questions\, complete the maze\, and enjoy the outdoor experience.

DESCRIPTION:One of the most original comedy-mystery plots of all time. It first ran as a short story in Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine\, and was later a hit on “Alfred Hitchcock Presents”\, translated into a dozen foreign languages\, reprinted in several anthologies. What happens when a famous mystery writer is murdered\, goes to Heaven and discover’s that not even St. Michael knows who murdered him? There’s only one answer: Saint Michael sends him back to earth to relive the past twenty-four hours of his life in order to solve the murder before it is committed. The writer discovers everybody he knows has a good reason to kill him! And then – is he just going to sit there and let it happen a second time? So the writer must outwit both the murderer and the Archangel Michael.

DESCRIPTION:The Johnstown Tomahawks is a hockey team in the East Division of the NAHL. Celebrating its 50th season in 2024-25\, the NAHL is the only USA Hockey-sanctioned Tier II Junior league boasting 35 teams in 20 states from across North America. The NAHL is part of the USA Hockey National Junior Development Model\, which includes the USHL and the US National Team Development Program. The NAHL works closely with NCAA College Hockey\, the NHL\, the USHL\, and USA Hockey’s National Development Program in order to best serve as an imperative piece in the development system for collegiate and professional hockey.
