Fly Tying Part 2 and Fly Fishing Tactics

Date:
Wednesday, February 22, 2023 - 5:30pm

If you have attended a Beginner Fly Tying course at Prince Gallitzin State Park in the past, this program is for you!  Build off the skills learned in Beginner Fly Tying to expand on techniques used to tie a dry fly and streamer.  Also learn how to set up a flyrod for different trout fishing applications and be introduced to fishing techniques for these scenarios.

The program will be hosted at the Park Office Conference Room (Prince Gallitzin State Park Office, 966 Marina Road, Patton, PA 16668 at back of building lower level doors).  All fly tying tools and material will be provided free of cost, and participants will be able to keep their completed fly patterns. This course is intended for first time novice fly tiers ages 10 and up, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Equipment is limited. Pre-registration is required by email or phone and closes two days prior to the program.
