FeederWatch

Date:
Wednesday, February 23, 2022 - 11:00am

Location: Park Office

Join a park naturalist as we watch the park bird feeders and learn how to identify some of the birds most commonly found at home feeders, as well as discover a little bit about their natural history. We will also be keeping track of the birds we see and will be submitting that data as part of Project FeederWatch, a citizen science bird survey through the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Binoculars and spotting scopes will be available for an up-close look, but feel free to bring your own as well. Meet at the observation deck on the right side of the park office. Free program.
