"Biennial 2023" & "Found Voice in Art" Exhibits

"Biennial 2023" is a juried exhibition which celebrates the impressive creative talent of artists from across our state of Pennsylvania. Biennial is an opportunity for contemporary artists to be recognized for their excellence by competing for several awards adjudicated by this year’s awards jury.

The "Found Voice in Art" exhibition presents a full spectrum of voices, each unique and remarkable in their own way, each answering the question: what is art? Each piece was selected as an example of an artist “finding their voice” or their own style. Amidst the plethora of styles, an artist must develop their own unique way of seeing and communicate it to the rest of the world. It is a process, and it doesn’t happen all at once, but is developed through series of iterations in which each artist develops or ‘finds’ their voice.
