Here's a quick and easy guide to all the events and locations you should visit this Holiday season! From the Christmas tree and village in downtown's Central Park; to the historically festive Dickens of a Christmas in Ebensburg, There's no better time to visit Cambria County, PA!

November 19th - January 8th

Central Park Tree and Christmas Village

A Johnstown Christmas tradition! This 36 ft. tall Christmas tree is animated to your favorite holiday music, and is a must see during the winter season. The display in Johnstown's Central Park also features a Christmas Village that displays charming houses decorated by local businesses and groups. The tree is lit daily from noon to 1 PM and 5 PM to 11 PM.

November 20th - December 18th

Live Music at 416 Main Street

Enjoy some of your favorite holiday tunes live at 416 Main Street in Johnstown every Saturday starting November 19th! Enjoy the beautifully decorated historic building, and pick up some local visitor information.

November 19th

Hometown Christmas Stroll & Light Up Night
A fun filled walk down Johnstown's city streets featuring inflatable balloons, floats live music, food trucks, Santa, and of course the 36 ft. tall animated Christmas tree and village in Central Park. This stroll marks the beggining of the holiday season here in Johnstown!
 

Starting November 13th!

The 51st Annual Holly Bazaar

The Holly Bazaar is a multifaceted holiday celebration that begins Saturday, November 13th and runs through Christmas Eve, December 24th. The Community Arts Center of Cambria County will be open seven days a week, Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM and Sundays from Noon to 5 PM during the Holly Bazaar.

December 3rd - December 5th

Dickens of a Christmas - Ebensburg

Ebensburg’s 16th annual Dickens of a Christmas is scheduled to take place December 3 – 5, 2021. It is a family-oriented Christmas celebration based on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Many vendors and other participants are clad in period costume. Let us be your host as you enjoy this old-fashioned Christmas weekend.

December 11th

Johnstown Symphony Orchestra
The Johnstown Symphony Chorus is featured here in their return to the concert hall after a year-long hiatus, under the direction of Jeffrey L. Webb, with four soloists: Molly Netter, soprano; Kristen Dubenion-Smith, mezzo-soprano; Brian Giebler, tenor; and Tyler Putnam, bass.   
 
An evergreen holiday favorite, Handel’s Messiah will lift you out of your seat and fill your heart with joy. Maestro Blachly says “there is no more complete expression of the full emotion of the holiday season than this miraculous work.”

Harmony Light Fest

A drive-thru celebration of Christmas! Take a drive through the grounds of Camp Harmony and enjoy the Christmas light displays they have to offer. The cost to drive through is $10 per car and drive up concessions will also be available.

December 10th - 12th

Portage Winterfest Express

A fun-filled festival in the quaint town of Portage, PA. This event will feature a lot of unique experience for you to enjoy throughout it's three-day runtime such as live music, escape rooms, food vendors, basket raffles, a visit from Santa, and so much more!

December 3rd and 4th

Johnstown Christmas Market

A family-friendly, traditional, European Christmas market located around Johnstown's Central Park and the surrounding businesses. Shop local for your loved ones gifts this year!

November 18th - January 6th

Festival of Trees

The Festival of Trees will be showcasing twelve intricately decorated Christmas trees, by twelve creators, in the Lobby of AmeriServ from Light-Up Night, on November 19th until January 6th. Take a walk through the display, and cast your vote for your favorite tree. 

December 10th

Central Park Christmas Express

All aboard! The Christmas Express Train will be rolling through Johnstown's Central Park this year. Bring the kids by for some Christmastime fun!
