VOMA Folk & Bluegrass Series: Grain Thief

GRAIN THIEF is a five-piece string band from Boston MA, with roots in folk, bluegrass and old-time music. They have toured the country with performances at music festivals like GreyFox Bluegrass Festival and Ossipee Music Festival, and opened for artists like Tim O’Brian, Mile Twelve, and Town Mountain. The group comprises Patrick Mulroy (guitar, vocals), Zach Meyer (mandolin, vocals), Michael Harmon (bass, vocals), Tom Farrell (lead guitar), and Alex Barstow (fiddle).

While this is GRAIN THIEF’s VOMA debut, Mike Harmon had previously performed at VOMA with The Clements Brothers in February this year.

Opening the evening will be Fiddlin’ Ray Bruckman, a long-time friend of VOMA and fan favorite. He has performed at VOMA over the years in a variety of bluegrass bands on both fiddle and mandolin.
