The Johnstown Branch of the NAACP is celebrating the Juneteenth holiday this year with a range of activities for the whole family on June 12-19 in downtown Johnstown's Central Park. Our theme this year is "The Urgency of Now"!
Monday, June 19
12-1pm - 2nd Annual Parade (starts at Point Stadium via Main St. and ends on Clinton St.)
1pm - Proclamation from Mayor Janakovic
1-2pm - Johnstown Symphony Orchestra & ensemble quartet performing a piece by Mason Quinn (black composer)
2-3pm - Veteran's Program: Featuring Heroes of Korea Conflict & Vietnam Era
3-5pm - Fashion Show by MSB
5pm - Juneteenth Group Picture
6-8pm - Music by The Palovations
