Cambria County Hero Hike

Come join Cambria County as it conducts its 7th Annual Hero Hike on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 20, 2023! Starting at 9 a.m. at the Nanty Glo Trailhead (902 Chestnut St. Nanty Glo, PA), all are welcome to hike, walk, run, or bike the 7.5 mile stretch of The Ghost Town Trail from Nanty Glo to Ebensburg. There will be a brief ceremony held at the Pfc. Peter Coleman Memorial Underpass at 11:45 a.m. The underpass is approximately ¼ of a mile from the Ebensburg Trailhead at 324 Prave St. The Ghost Town Trail is a nationally ranked trail that blends natural beauty, fascinating historical features, and throws in a bit of challenge for flavor. Donations are encouraged, but not required.
