Spirits of Staple Bend Tunnel Ghost Tours

Join the staff and volunteers of Allegheny Portage RR NHS for our popular fall program.  "The Staple Bend Tunnel Ghost Tour."  Visitors will meet park staff at the Staple Bend Tunnel parking lot in Mineral Point and take a short bus ride to the tunnel.  At the tunnel, visitors will meet historic characters who will share some of the darker stories of traveling and working on the Allegheny Portage RR.  The hour long program includes a lantern lit walk through the 901-foot long tunnel. 

Tour start times: 6:00; 7:00; 8:00 & 9:00 - In the event of inclement weather, the event MAY BE CANCELLED.

Reservations are REQUIRED, $2 per person fee
