This hike is designed to pick up where the Path of the Flood Hike-Part I ends in Franklin Borough, though participating in the first hike is not a necessary prerequisite to either participate in or enjoy this hike. After checking in and a brief orientation at the park Visitor Center, hikers will board a van and be driven to Franklin Borough. From there, the hike will wind through East Conemaugh, Woodvale, and downtown Johnstown, ending at the Stone Bridge. At the Stone Bridge, hikers will board another van for the trip back to the park. The hike is free, but RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. Dress appropriately and wear the proper footwear. Please keep in mind that unlike the Path of the Flood Hike-Part I, the terrain is mainly even, but we will be sharing the road with vehicles and other pedestrians. Please call (814) 886-6170 to make reservations and for more information.
