Canal Basin Park parking lot on Bedford Street, Hollidaysburg, PA
Learn about Hollidaysburg's colorful history on this walking tour with a ranger from Allegheny Portage RR NHS. The tour will begin at the Canal Basin Park and then wind its way through the streets and alleys of town to surviving canal-era houses and buildings. The tour will cover two to three miles and last from 2:00PM to about 4:30PM.
The tour is held rain or shine, so come prepared. Please wear comfortable sturdy footwear because some of the sidewalks in the older part of town are uneven.
The tour is FREE, but reservations are required.
