The Grand Halle - Bryan Lohr, Organist

 An acclaimed organ recitalist will open the Performance Series' fifth season wiht music inspired by the Halle's striking stained glass windows. Mr Lohr will be playing the Halle's Adam Stein pipe organ, which is now 116 years old and one of the few remaining organs by this builder.  

Bryan Lohr of Hooversville, is a graduate of Julliard School in New York City and the Master of Music program at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, where he became the first organist to receive the prestigious Artist Diploma.  As both a pianist and organist, Mr Lohr has performed across the United States and has collaborated with the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of the Alleghenies and the Bach Choir of Pittsburgh.  He is Director of Music Ministries at First Presybertian Church in Cumberland, MD
