The Cambria City Ethnic Festival is held each year on Labor Day Weekend in the historic Cambria City Section of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy this free event. The festival spans venues from 3rd to 10th ave, one block off Broad St., along Chestnut St.

The Log House Arts Festival happens on the Community Arts Center’s 2.5 scenic acres in the Westmont section of Johnstown, PA. The festival is one of the largest fundraising efforts that the Center does each year, hosting over 10,000 visitors annually and is a special event/fundraiser geared toward any quality handcrafted Artist/Craftsman willing to sell and/or demonstrate original work. The festival features hand-crafted items, including jewelry, pottery, florals, rugs, crafted wood and decor, tole, plants, fabric items, handbags, sweatshirts, furniture, Steelers “gear,” metal artwork, slate artwork, fudge, wine, and a distillery.

The Forest Hills Festival is held at the Berwind Wayside Park in Saint Michael, PA. This year’s highlights include an all-you-can-eat breakfast each morning from 7:00 – 11:00 a.m. in the fire hall. Food vendors will be serving a variety of delicious meals.  A large handmade craft vendor area will feature an array of items for patrons to purchase.

For those living in Cambria County, Labor Day means more than simply the end of the summer season, the beginning of school or another holiday. Labor Day signals the annual fair.  Years of work, excitement, and heartbreak went into the making of the fair as we see it today and that work goes on year after year, all year long, not just for the few days during which the fair is open.

 

The annual Homegrown Music Festival showcases local bands while raising money for charity. This year's event will feature performances from The Panels, Even the Odds, Stars Upon the Western Hills, and Shades of June! Tickets are $10 and kids 12 and under are free! 100% of the proceeds benefit local charities.

Laurel Highlands Historical Village is sponsoring a 2-day Arts and Heritage Festival at Duman Lake Park on Saturday Sept 11 2021 and Sunday September 12, 2021.  We are inviting Arts and Craft Vendors, food vendors, artisans, reenactors, county agencies, living history groups, and non-profits to attend our event. Our event allows you to market your products.  This event is in its second year and promises to be bigger and better.  The event will showcase, not only businesses, but your history and future. 

Sandyvale Wine Experience has quickly become the area’s premier wine event.  Enjoy two unique wine events in one weekend! Kick it all off on Friday, the first Friday after Labor Day, with the Sandyvale Wine Dinner. Your low-cost admission enables you to delight in a unique wine experience, live entertainment, and prizes.

The New Germany Festival is a fun‑filled two days of great food, arts and crafts vendors, fall favorites, and more! Take a walk through the New Germany Grove and take it all in. 

Johnstown's Slavic Festival is a celebration of Authentic Slavic music, Slavic folk dance performance, Slavic food, as well as Slavic beer. The event also features educational speakers, cooking demonstrations, Ethnic vendors, and much more!

The Ebensburg PotatoFest is an annual event in Ebensburg, PA celebrating Cambria County potatoes and its growers. It is held on the last Saturday of September each year! The county is the second largest supplier of potatoes in the state. The festival is a fun-filled day of arts, crafts, entertainment, and food for the entire family. Entertainers perform throughout the day with music to please all ages. Over 200 crafters and artisans line the streets for blocks with homemade wares and food of all kinds.

 

Rally at the Rock offers riding, guided tours of the park, food, vendors and other entertainment. It’s a great weekend to spend in the mountains of Central Pennsylvania with your riding family. Rally at the Rock is always held the last full weekend of September.
