Johnstown Concert Series: Philly Street Strings

Philly Street Strings is a dynamic, new orchestra based in Indiana, PA. The ensemble, founded by violinists Stanley and Swana Chepaitis, features 12 professional string players who have performed and taught in the area for many years. Philly Street Strings is an orchestra without a conductor. Instead, all players work actively together to create fresh and vibrant performances. Their repertoire has ranged from Baroque classics to contemporary jazz.
