Sandyvale Memorial Day Ceremony

The event is free and open to the general public. There will be a parade into the site, presenting of the colors, a bagpiper, chaplain, the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War and their Ladies Auxiliary – Mary Campbell Ladies #16, the American Legion post 294 Johnstown Ritual Team and Auxiliary and the 54th PVI Re-enactors, a keynote speaker and soloist. The ceremony begins at 10:00 A.M. and runs until 11:00 A.M. There will be a special presentation celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the United States after the ceremony. In the afternoon, there will be a classic car and motorcycle cruise, food vendors, music, children’s activities and crafts, a bounce house and a plant sale in the greenhouse.
