Cambria Iron Conference and Tours

The Cambria Iron Conference is an event held at Center for Metal Arts in the historic Cambria Iron and Steel Blacksmith shop. The tour will include a walk through of all three buildings on campus, demonstrations in the historic Blacksmith Shop, and the telling of the history of the Cambria Iron historic landmark. Participants will get to experience the 3,000 lb. Chambersburg and the 4,000 lb. Bement Miles power hammers in action, two of the remaining large industrial hammers left inside the blacksmith shop, being used to forge sculpture with featured demonstrator Patrick Quinn.
