Dwight Yoakam is an American singer-songwriter, actor, and filmmaker. He first achieved mainstream attention in 1986 with the release of his debut single “Honky Tonk Man” and album Guitars, Cadillacs. Throughout his career, Yoakam has recorded over 20 albums and compilations, sold more than 25 million records, and charted over 30 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts.
