Cresson Sanatorium & Prison is a historic 32-acre property with more than 100 years of history as a tuberculosis sanatorium, state hospital, and correctional institution. Today, visitors can experience the site through daytime exploration and photography, flashlight tours, paranormal investigations, and special events. Much of the property remains intact, offering access to original buildings, underground tunnels, and spaces that reflect the many different chapters of Cresson’s past.
