The North Central Recreation Center serves as the premiere public ice facility of Cambria County, serving the community since 2004.

NCRC is conveniently located just off of Route 422, accessible from Route 219 and Route 22. With its central location, NCRC is a short drive from the surrounding areas of Johnstown, Altoona, and Indiana.

NCRC offers a variety of public programming – Learn to Skate Classes, Public Skating, Father/Son Stick Time, Drop-In Hockey Sessions, Freestyle Figure Skating, Adult Hockey League, and more. They also offer the opportunity for private ice rentals.

NCRC is the ideal location for a pickup game of hockey with friends, birthday parties, and private ice skating sessions for schools, organizations, or businesses.
