The Roxbury Bandshell was completed in the late 1930s and one of the 27 built under President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Work Progress Administration.

It is the last still standing in the United States.

The Roxbury Bandshell Preservation Alliance hosts free Sunday concerts during summer, Bandshell Bark, plus numerous other events.
