Higher Ground: A Grassroots Cycling Experience

Higher Ground is returning to the Johnstown region and is now being presented by unpavedPA, an organization that produces gravel and adventure cycling events across Pennsylvania. Higher Ground, which was created by Johnstown local Jarrod Bunk in 2022, is a grassroots cycling event that highlights the scenic beauty of Pennsylvania’s biking trails.

The event will feature three distances for cyclists to sink their teeth into, offering 30, 40, and 100-mile rides. These challenging and rewarding rides highlight the region’s rugged terrain and natural beauty.
