Let Me Be Myself: The Life Story of Anne Frank
Let Me Be Myself: The Life Story of Anne Frank
April 26 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
This moving exhibition explores Anne Frank’s life within the larger history of the Holocaust and World War II. Through large-scale imagery and historical storytelling, visitors will follow Anne’s journey while learning about the rise of the Nazi Party and the persecution of Jewish people across Europe. The exhibition will also feature World War II artifacts donated by local residents, connecting this global story to the personal histories of families throughout the Laurel Highlands, in a special exhibition titled World War II: Johnstown and Service. Community members trained as docents will guide visitors through the exhibition and help spark meaningful conversations about compassion, resilience, and the importance of remembering history.
