Enjoy Plein Air Painting in downtown Johnstown!

If you’re looking for a creative and relaxing way to spend your Saturdays this summer, Painting in the Park is the perfect escape. Hosted weekly by Gallery on Gazebo, this cherished event invites artists of all skill levels to gather, create, and connect amidst the natural beauty of our Central Park. From beginners with a sketchpad to seasoned painters with easels and palettes, everyone is welcome to take part in this vibrant celebration of artistic expression.

Held every Saturday from June 7th to August 30th, between 10 AM and 2 PM, Painting in the Park transforms a portion of the city into an open-air studio. Surrounded by fresh air and inspiring architecture,  participants are encouraged to let the scenery guide their brushstrokes and explore new perspectives in their work. It’s the perfect opportunity to grow your artistic prowess while soaking in the atmosphere.

Whether you’re a local or visiting from out of town, we invite you to join us! Bring your supplies, your creativity, and your curiosity. Take a stroll through the park, admire the work of other local artists, and maybe even try your hand at painting something yourself.
