The 81st Annual National AAABA Tournament

For more than eight decades, Johnstown has welcomed some of the nation’s top amateur baseball talent for one of the country’s longest-running and most respected tournaments. From August 3rd – 8th, 2026, the time-honored tradition continues as the Annual National All-American Amateur Baseball Association (AAABA) Tournament returns to the Johnstown region for its 81st year.
During the week of the tournament, teams from across the eastern, southeastern, and midwestern United States will compete in pursuit of the AAABA championship title. The tournament has long served as a showcase for outstanding amateur talent while providing fans with competitive baseball in a family-friendly atmosphere.
The tournament is made even more special by its home field, Sargent’s Stadium at The Point, which recently celebrated its 100th anniversary. Originally built in 1926, the historic ballpark has hosted the AAABA Tournament since 1945 and has welcomed generations of baseball legends, community events, and memories that span generations. Today, it remains one of Johnstown’s most iconic sports venues.
A trip to the tournament is also the perfect opportunity to experience everything the Johnstown region has to offer. Before or after the games, explore local restaurants, breweries, museums, outdoor recreation, and nearby attractions to make your visit a memorable summer getaway!
