While bats are often featured on spooky Halloween pictures, Pennsylvania bats have prepared for cold weather by then. We will explore some bat summer habitats and look for signs of any remaining, read a story, and role-play some bat activities! * For ages 3-6
Enjoy an out and back hike through the fields of Bollinger Trail as we examine the late summer flowers for seeds and eggs. Learn how to porpagate milweed for next year's monarch and other pollinators.
The festival features over 100 vendors of handmade crafts, food vendors, cider pressing demonstrations, live music, educational displays, chainsaw carving, hay rides, petting zoo and much more!

Join a park naturalist out on the lake to enjoy watching the Perseid Meteor Shower. During the peak nights this meteor shower can produce over 50 meteors an hour. We will meet at headache hill near the water tower on long road. Bring a chair or a blanket with you.
